Mental Health Services
At Wake Teen, we provide a safe place for teens and young adults to express their feelings, address changes that are occurring in their development, and provide help in dealing with many different types of problems.
Our services include (but are not limited to):
- Confidential individual and family counseling. We offer an individualized treatment plan that offers opportunities for family counseling as appropriate. Concerns teens seek help for include: family conflicts, depression, anxiety, school problems, defiant behavior, anger, teen adjustment changes, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and many others.
- We also provide outreach counseling services at several local middle and high schools. Services are provided weekly during the school day and sessions are weekly.
- A board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist is available for consultation and medication assessment if you are a therapy client at Wake Teen.
- We are happy to coordinate services with other professionals who may be involved with you: your school, other physicians, juvenile court counselors, etc. We do not offer court assessments, forensic assessments, or child custody court recommendations.
All Wake Teen therapist are licensed professionals.
