About Wake Teen
Our mission is simple: To improve the health and well-being of teens and young adults in Wake County by providing adolescent-focused medical and mental health care, community education and professional training.
Wake Teen’s primary goal is to provide adolescents and young adults with a comprehensive array of services that include preventive health care, mental health care, nutrition counseling and health education to help improve the quality of their lives. Wake Teen is unique from many other medical practices in three important ways:
- We focus only on individuals ages 10-23 years.
- We have a comprehensive team of providers that evaluate, discuss and provide adolescents and young adults the best care possible. They include: doctors, therapist, nutritionists, health educators, psychiatrists, nurses and support staff.
- We center our services around three CORE actions that we believe are essential as youth transition from childhood to adolescence to adults – Educate, Encourage and Empower.
